Your receipt data

TableSplit stores your account, saved receipts and shared checks on our server. Only your signed-in account can access your private receipt history. Anyone with a shared check's code can see that check and join it.

Photos and scanning

The iPhone app processes on-device scans using Apple's Vision and Foundation Models frameworks when available. If you choose a cloud scan, the receipt image is sent to OpenAI for extraction. Cloud scanning is optional; you can always enter and correct items manually.

When you save a split with a photo on the web, we store that photo privately with your receipt. Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider. We do not store your Apple password.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account from Account settings. This removes your saved receipts, stored photos and hosted checks. Guests will no longer be able to open those shared checks.

For support, contact the person who provided your TableSplit access. This preview describes the current data flows; a public App Store release needs the operator's support contact and final privacy policy.
